Special 45-Minute Yoga & Pranayama Program for Mt. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

You’ll be given a special 45-minute Yoga and Pranayama program designed by Tanubodhi — specifically to prepare you for the sacred Mount Kailash Mansarovar Yatra once you sign up for the Yatra!

This balanced practice will help you deepen your inner transformation journey, build physical fitness, and maintain calm, focus, and vitality throughout the Yatra.
Through this daily 45-minute practice, you will:

  • Enhance your breathing capacity and lung strength — vital for high-altitude travel.
  • Improve physical stamina and flexibility — supporting trekking and long journeys.
  • Calm the nervous system — reducing stress and preventing altitude sickness.
  • Center the mind — promoting focus, inner peace, and devotion during the pilgrimage.

This session includes:

  • Warm-up and gentle asana flow to awaken the body
  • Pranayama techniques such as kapalbhati, Nadi Shodhana, Bhastrika, and Anulom Vilom
  • Guided breath and meditation practice for clarity and grounding
  • Closing relaxation to restore harmony and inner stillness.

Introduction:

Mount Kailash (known as Kangrinboqê in Tibetan and Gang Rinpoche in Chinese) is situated in the Ngari Prefecture of western Tibet, China. It stands at an altitude of 6,638 meters (21,778 feet) and is part of the Transhimalaya mountain range near the sources of some of Asia’s longest rivers, including the Indus, Sutlej, and Brahmaputra

Mount Kailash holds deep spiritual significance for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers, who consider it a sacred peak and a destination for pilgrimage.

The Mansarovar Kailash Yatra is more than a journey — it is a pilgrimage of the soul.

Nestled deep within the majestic Himalayas, Mount Kailash is revered by seekers of all faiths as the spiritual axis of the world — the Abode of Lord Shiva, where heaven meets earth and silence speaks the language of eternity.

The 14-day Yatra to Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash invites you to step beyond the ordinary, to awaken inner peace, devotion, and transformation. As you travel through the sacred lands of Nepal and Tibet — across mountain passes, ancient monasteries, and the tranquil waters of Mansarovar — every moment becomes an act of meditation, every breath a prayer.

This journey is not merely about reaching a destination, but about discovering the divine presence within yourself. It is a path of surrender, strength, and grace — where each step taken around Kailash brings you closer to liberation.

May this Yatra bless you with clarity, compassion, and the serenity of the sacred Himalayas.
